Can the color of the Google Map be styled?
As of version 5.0.0, styling is configured exclusively via the Google Maps Map-ID / API-Key. Define your desired map style in the Google Cloud Console (Maps Styling) and link it to the API-Key used by your site. The map will automatically adopt the colors defined there.
The Map-ID must be configured in the themes.configuration.javascript.google.maps.mapId TypoScript Constant.
Note:
- In earlier versions, map styles could sometimes be set directly in the extension or via TypoScript/JavaScript. This option was removed with 5.0.0.
